Network Merchants Inc Gateway for Magento
Magento is a powerful e-commerce platform that can help you sell your products and services online. The software offers several features that make it easy to manage your store, including an advanced search engine and multiple payment gateways. However, one thing that most merchants don't realize is how useful NMI is for managing their Magento accounts. When used correctly, NMI can improve efficiency and security in your business by helping with back-end tasks such as order management or account management—allowing you to focus on what matters most: selling products!
Magento 1.x
Magento 1.x is the older version of Magento, and it's not compatible with NMI. However, you can use NMI to process credit card payments in your store.
Magento 2.x
Magento 2.x users can also benefit from NMI's single checkout page, which allows for quick and easy payments. This feature is especially useful for customers with multiple shopping carts or who want to purchase a large number of products in one transaction.
NMI is a secure payment processor that integrates with your store software, providing you with an improved shopping experience while helping keep your business compliant with PCI level 1 requirement. With NMI's PCI Level 1 compliant gateway, merchants can accept all major credit cards including Visa/MasterCard, American Express, and Discover as well as PayPal.*
Adding NMI to your store for the first time?
If you're new to NMI, let us explain the benefits of using our gateway.
Our payment processor is independent and PCI-compliant. This means that all transactions are processed by our company and not by a third-party service provider like PayPal or Stripe.
NMI is an eCommerce merchant account provider, so we can help you set up your Magento store with all the features required for accepting payments online.
We offer fraud protection services through MasterCard Secure Code™ technology which prevents unauthorized access to your account when making purchases on any website using this technology (including ours).
Setting up a new NMI account in Magento 1.x
Log in to your admin panel and navigate to the NMI Gateway page. Click on the Add Gateway button, enter your gateway details, then click Save.
You will be prompted to confirm that you want to create a new merchant account by clicking Yes. If this is not what you want, click Cancel and return here again later when you are ready for this process (and hopefully more comfortable with it).
Setting up a new NMI account in Magento 2.x
To set up a new NMI account in Magento 2.x, follow these steps:
Go to the NMI website at https://www.nmigroupcorp.com/en-us/_static/nmi_login_page/.
Click on the "Start a New Account" button located below your name in the upper right corner of the page. This will take you to another page where you can fill out some information about yourself and select how much money you want to deposit into your account (this amount should be at least $100). Once this has been submitted, click "Submit" at bottom of the screen when prompted by a system message asking if everything looks correct; then NMI will send an email with your credentials immediately after submitting this form!
Viewing transaction history with NMI in Magento 1.x
If you want to view the transaction history of a specific order, go to the Orders tab and select it. Then, click on View Transaction Details in the left sidebar menu. This will open up your order's details page where all transactions are listed chronologically by date. You can also filter these records based on any criteria that you set beforehand (such as type of payment or merchant).
Viewing transaction history with NMI in Magento 2.x
In the Admin panel, go to System > Configuration > Sales
Under Sales Tax, click on Tax Classes
Click on the name of the tax class you want to view (e.g., Fuel) and then click on the Order tab. On this page, you will see all orders that were placed with that tax class in their order history.
Transaction Types
A transaction is the processing of a customer's payment information and the charge to their bank account. There are two types of transactions, online and offline. Online transactions are when a customer makes a purchase online. Offline transactions include paper checks, credit cards, and ACH payments made with your business' bank account by mail or phone.
